He is part Irish, you know . . .

Had I seen this picture 2 years ago, I would have quit my job and campaigned for this guy.

Full story is here at ChicagoTribune.com. But in short, he met the Lawn Rangers, a lawn mowing drill team, and held up this plunger, which they use as batons.

They will be part of "Mow-bama's" Inauguration parade today.

God Bless America.

Soooo - Maybe you should redo the blog's slogan as: 3 guys who start this contest to redo the slogan but then after everyone tries hard and brainstorms about it, we'll just kind of move on and not follow through with it.

(snap)

But seriously, what happened to the slogan?

Hey nick, don't be so hard on us. We'll fix our slogan just after O'Bama fixes and unifies our country.

We are currently going line by line through our slogan list, figuring out which slogans work, and which ones do not, so we can either move forward, or end them.

Coovo, I like the post. Good to know I'm not the only one claiming O'Bama for the Irish:

so is nick, nickname's nickname?...All political leanings on this blog aside, I got a chance during my excruciatingly busy workday to watch the inauguration in the lunchroom and I couldn't help but get goosebumps. And I understand that the man has had no lack of hype, but that scene, no matter the reason for them being there, of two million people waving American flags and cheering is something that can't be taken lightly, and I think is a priceless image for the rest of the world to see....nothing to do with him holding up a plunger, but just a quick thought...

I would have gotten goosebumps if O'Bama held up the plunger and said "Together we can unclog the toilets of this country. Where my Lawn Rangers At?"

Maybe that could be our new slogan.

Or it could be: Hey Nickname, why don't you chill out until Roller has a chance to do a follow up post. No, that one stinks.
